Ronald McDonald House Charities Curaçao is proud to have been one of the beneficiaries of the 12th Annual Crab Race, hosted by Baoase Luxury Resort on January 2, 2026, on Bida Island.
The annual Crab Race brings together guests, partners, and the wider Baoase community to support charitable causes that strengthen families and improve community well-being. Through crab sales, a live auction featuring unique experiences, and additional donations, a total of USD 110,000 (XCG 195,800) was raised during this year’s event. These proceeds were generously allocated to Ronald McDonald House Charities Curaçao and the Baoase Foundation!
The contribution supports Ronald McDonald House Charities programs, which provide care, comfort, and practical support to sick children and their families. These programs are designed to help families stay close, remain strong, and focus on what matters most—the health and well-being of their child—during times of medical need.
Ronald McDonald House Charities Curaçao extends its heartfelt gratitude to Baoase Luxury Resort, its guests, partners, and all participants of the Crab Race for their continued commitment to supporting families during difficult moments. Their generosity makes a meaningful and lasting difference in the lives of children and families across Curaçao.
