On Saturday, November 23, 2024, the Ronald McDonald House Charities Curaçao Foundation (RMHC) joined forces with KLM Royal Dutch Airlines to host the inspiring “KIDS FOR KIDS” run, part of the KLM Curaçao Marathon weekend. This initiative brought together students from Radulphus College and the International School of Curaçao, united by a shared purpose: to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families.
The enthusiastic team “KIDS FOR KIDS” participated in the 5K race, with each student runner securing sponsorships from their communities. These contributions aimed to raise both awareness and funds for the Ronald McDonald House Charities Curaçao Foundation, which is dedicated to improving the health and well-being of children and their families.
The students’ hard work and dedication yielded an impressive ANG 5.285,-. Their efforts were further amplified when KLM generously decided to double the amount, bringing the total to ANG 10.750,-.
Thanks to the unwavering commitment of these students, the support of their communities, and KLM’s remarkable generosity, RMHC can continue to expand its mission of providing comfort, care, and essential services to families in need.
To date, RMHC Curaçao has touched the lives of over 19,826 families through its Ronald McDonald Family Room program. This event serves as a beautiful reminder of what can be achieved when communities come together for a common cause—compassion and hope for our most vulnerable.
Together, we make a difference, for children, for families, and for a brighter tomorrow.
