Strides for Smiles 2025 unites Curaçao in a walk full of joy and purpose

Willemstad, June 2, 2025 — On Sunday, June 1st, Curaçao came together in an unforgettable celebration of unity, joy, and giving back at Strides for Smiles 2025. Sponsored by Maduro & Curiel’s Bank (MCB), the event brought together three remarkable foundations: Ronald McDonald House Charities Curaçao, the Children’s Museum Curaçao, and the Prinses Wilhelminafonds, combining forces for an even bigger impact on the community.

Proudly event sponsor FDKK joined as the second biggest sponsor, and Sambil generously provided the vibrant location for this year’s event.

Unlike a traditional walk, Strides for Smiles was an interactive journey with more than 5000 participants, transforming Sambil and its surroundings into a lively experience zone.

Along the route, participants were treated to:

Dreamstreet by Landsloterij
Refresh Splash by Glacial
Bib Blocks by Betonindustrie Brievengat and Mijn Maatschappij

The Ball Pit by FDDK
Paint Lane by Kooyman and Global Paint
Blue Block Party by MCB

The event was a heartwarming spectacle with children, families, and even participants in wheelchairs all moving joyfully along the course. Inclusivity, vibrant energy, and a strong sense of community filled the air, creating an atmosphere that truly captured the spirit of Curaçao.

Strides for Smiles 2025 was more than just a walk; it was a shared experience of hope, happiness, and community support, setting a shining example of what can be achieved when people come together for a greater cause.
